Zoom Uphill is an all-terrain, electrically powered four-wheeler. It can be used for recreational use and gives access to the forest and open country. So far the company Zoomability has retailers in Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Finland and the U.K. And now the American charity fund The Independence Fund, Inc. has placed a large order to give veterans greater independence and quality of life.
The Independence Fund is a non-profit charity organization in the United States. In 2013 they raised $ 14 million to support soldiers. At a camp in the U.S. this autumn war veterans got the opportunity to test the Zoom Uphill-vehicle. Their very positive response led to the large order. Justin Minyard, Member of the Board at The Independence Fund: -”Zoomability participated with 5 Zooms. The guys took a seat in the Zooms and spun off and went off road having a blast. We have seen all kinds of e-vehicles and it was obvious how the Zoom appeals to folks who were used to such adrenaline highs when they served in the military.”
- We are proud to be part of the important support that The Independence Fund provides to war veterans, says Björn Larsson, CEO of Zoomability .
The Swedish Innovation Center Robotdalen has supported the company Zoomability AB in Västerås, Sweden on their journey from idea to commercialization. It was Robotdalen who established the contact that has now resulted in the company’s first U.S order. – Zoom Uphill is a product that provides enhanced quality of life , which is the core for Robotdalen’s work with new solutions, says Erik Lundqvist, General Manager at Robotdalen. We look forward to keep following Zoomability on their journey putting a Swedish innovation on the international map.
